Boundary Changes
The proposals are out and I had the opportunity to have my say in the local paper.
At the moment the parliamentary constituency of Wealden is contained within the Local Authority area of Wealden.Crowborough,Uckfield and Hailsham are the largest towns.Under the proposals a new constituency of Weald will be created with Crowborough joining areas of Kent but losing Uckfield and Hailsham.
Politically and physically Crowborough will become just a dot on the map and I cant really see another MP having the local knowledge or interest in the area that Charles Hendry does.If we are relying on the Town Council to
represent our interests to the MP we are really in trouble .Towns with more vocal and democratically elected Parish/Town Councils will represent their towns interests over and above a disfunctional council such as Crowborough Town Council .Like Mr Rochesters wife Crowborough will be put in the loft of the constituency and forgotten about.Unless we get a local person to stand as MP for the new Weald constituency we are screwed politically.
Realistically will it make any difference come the next election,probably not.My only hope is that people will realise that voting for the same old same old achieves nothing and will wake up to the merits of voting for UKIP .Unfortuanately just as many people oop North would vote for a pig if it had a labour sticker on it many people down here would vote for a pig as long as it had a Conservative or Lib dem sticker on it .

Sussex Safer Roads Partnership.
This is the new updated name for the Sussex Scamera Partnership who lectures drivers about speed limits for commercial vehicles yet allows its own van drivers to break those rules.
Their website is pretty crap really especially the bit about FAQs relating to speeding offences.
Two answers to FAQs are not just a bit misleading-they are as wrong as you can get.
Lie 1)"Section 172(7) of the Road Traffic Act 1988 states that the NIP must be returned fully completed and signed. If you return the form unsigned you will be summonsed to court for failing to identify the driver "
If you look at Section 172(7) it states nothing of the sort.What it actually states is ...
"(7)A requirement under subsection (2) may be made by written notice served by post; and where it is so made—.
(a)it shall have effect as a requirement to give the information within the period of 28 days beginning with the day on which the notice is served, and.
(b)the person on whom the notice is served shall not be guilty of an offence under this section if he shows either that he gave the information as soon as reasonably practicable after the end of that period or that it has not been reasonably practicable for him to give it.."
So thats one complete lie for a start.
Lie 2) "In accordance with the Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996, we are only required to provide you with the copies of the photographic evidence showing the offence. The request for photographic evidence must be for a legitimate reason and not for the purpose of identifying the driver"
Look at the relevant legislation here and you will see it says no such thing anywhere within it.
Thats 2 complete lies from the revenue raising scamera partnership.If you get a ticket from Sussex Scameras make sure you read the relevant legislation yourself dont rely on these con merchants for anything resembling advice.

Clued Up Info-Update.
Clued Up info seem very reluctant to tell us where all but £50 of its £78000 income came from last financial year.The accounts all seem to be amended so it doesnt show which organisations actually awarded the grants that makes up the remainder.
Well I can inform you all that Clued Up is actually part of the Youth Development Service of ESCC and the lions share of the grants come from the taxpayer via ESCC.The other main giver of taxpayers money is Crowborough Town Council whose Mayor is none other than Kay Moss who (by sheer coincidence)is also a trusteee of Clued Up.
What would be the motive the YDS aka Clued Up hiding who gave them money I hear you ask.Well in truth I dont know but what I do know is that one of the criteria for the Town Council handing out taxpayers money in the form of grants is that "bodies self funded or provided for by other authorities" would not be eligible for funding by them .So according to CTCs own rules Clued Up shouldnt get a penny from the Town Council because its funds are largely provided by other authorities.
Obviously different rules apply if the Mayor happens to be a trustee of the charity and an employee of ESCC.Nothing to see here move along.
Perhaps I should also mention that the town council insists usually that any unspent funds are returned to them.Why the hell then hasnt Clued Up returned all the Crowborough residents money when its got £55,000 cash in the bank to carry over. Obviously different rules again.

Message to all unelected Crowborough Town Council members.
It is high time for me to put an end to your sitting in this place, which you have dishonored by your contempt of all virtue, and defiled by your practice of every vice; ye are a factious crew, and enemies to all good government; ye are a pack of mercenary wretches, and would like Esau sell your town for a mess of pottage, and like Judas betray your God for a few pieces of money.
Is there a single virtue now remaining amongst you? Is there one vice you do not possess? Ye have no more religion than my horse; gold is your God; which of you have not barter'd your conscience for bribes? Is there a man amongst you that has the least care for the good of the town?
Ye sordid prostitutes have you not defil'd this sacred place, and turn'd the town council into a den of thieves, by your immoral principles and wicked practices? Ye are grown intolerably odious to the whole town; you were deputed here by the people to get grievances redress'd, are yourselves gone! So! Andrew Steen - Co Optee profile
Camera shy co optee Andrew Steen seems reluctant to share with us his politics and why he thinks he is suitable to represent residents in the East Ward.Since being handed the position on a plate without the hassle of being voted by anyone we have heard nothing from him other than he really wants to get in on the action as vice chairman of the planning committee including no doubt secret meetings with property developers.
Looking into his past we should all be very afraid because he worked in planning at Tunbridge Wells Borough Council and we can all see the disaster that the town planning in the town has produced.
If ever there was a person who shouldnt be let anywhere near town planning issues then Andrew Steen is that person.People like this get to these positions by who they know rather than what they know and I am sure he is pally with someone on the council which oiled the cogs of co option.
In summary then we have someone who we know nothing about other than he likes to ruin town centres second in charge of planning on the council.As for his politics he could be a member of the Communist Party for all we know and has been inserted into the town council to undermine the town and its institutions.Even worse and much more plausable is that he is a common purpose graduate inserted into the council by persons unknown to undermine the town administration such as it is.
All we do know is that this person is unelected and represents no one other than himself in a council riddled with non elected non entities.
I call on him to resign and seek re-election through a fair and open ballot of the Crowborough East Ward voters.Until he has the mandate of the people he purports to represent he will remain an undemocratic usurper with no more power or influence than anyone else in the town.

Dodgy goings on at the Council again.
In addition to Peter Cowie we are able to publish two other individuals that have commited crimes against democracy and transparency.
Both of these individuals like Peter Cowie are also deluded in thinking they are councillors despite the fact that not one person has voted for them.
We now have the complete gang of Cowie,Moss and Timms or dumb ,dumber and even dumber acting well beyond their remit and way beyond what is right and proper by holding secret unminuted meetings with property developers .
It appears that Neil Waller raised this at the last council meeting but Cowie,Moss and Timms refused to respond and instead trotting out some load of old crap about nothing relevant at all in reply.
So we have councillors secretly meeting with companies who want to build houses over vast swathes of the town despite the slight problem of the housing market flat lining locally and nationally.The fact that these meetings are occurring in private and unminuted would indicate that these three are up to no good and are at the very least bringing the council into disrepute which is no easy task .Developers cosying up to councillors in secret is something you might see in a corrupt banana republic but to the residents of this town it will be seen as unacceptable and those involved should resign or face the consequences.
