Scheme for the High Street 'will move forward .

Earlier today there was an article on the Couriers this is Sussex website that proclaimed "Scheme for the High Street 'will move forward'".It went on to explain that despite the fact that residents rejected the schemes at the public consultation and instead opted for the none of the above option (which was "accidently" removed from the option list)unelected Moss was going to push his plans through regardless.His tool to do this is going to be the Crowborough Partnership which in reality is the Town council ,Wealden and a few hangers on.
I commented to say that this was unnacceptable and if any businesses are going to campaign in favour of this unwanted scheme then they must face the prospect of the local residents deciding not to do business with them .
If they treat the residents of towns wishes with contempt and side with the unelected Council then they will reap what they sow and probably go out of business.
Strangely or predictably depending on your viewpoint the story still appears on the index page but if you click on the link it comes up to say that page doesnt exist.
I will be watching this story closely and publishing those individuals and businesses that are supporting this scheme against the wishes of the residents of the town.Residents can then decide whether they want to do business with them or not.

Apaches over Crowborough.

I have heard from a source that NATO is planning a no fly zone over Crowborough because those in charge of the town are an undemocratic rabble.
The Town Council leader Muammar Moss has been given an ultimatum that unless democracy is restored by open and free elections within 4 weeks ground troops will be deployed with Apache air support in order to liberate the people of the town.
In response the official spokesperson from the undemocratic republic of Crowborough said "we are working hard with our partners to facilitate change within our communities and celebrate diversity through our new dictatorship framework document which can be found online.Surveys have found that everyone in the town is happy being told what to do by the council and the fact that we are unelected and undemocratic doesnt change that fact.We will resist NATO agression by all means and as a precaution PCSO Smith is to patrol the town with a Hi Vis jacket and his hands in his pockets in order to reassure our communities that everything is fine within the town".

The one on the far right is Andrew(invisible man) Steen who seems as reluctant to have his picture on the councils website as he does to share his background and beliefs with us the residents of Crowborough East Ward who he thinks he represents .Our other East Ward non representative unelected representatives are Peter (£3million overdraft)Cowie,David(Lib Dum) Shaw and Sandra(twee)Timms none of which have been voted in just like 7/8ths of the council.

Crowborough Town Council-Undemocratic Sham

Above you can see the picture of one of our town councillors (Leigh Colbran).A representative of the people of Crowborough voted for by the people of Crowborough you would think.This democratically elected representative has been appointed chairman of the communications and events comittee presumably because she is the best "person" for the job.When I looked up the last town council election results I am left in some doubt whether Leigh is actually an elected Town Councillor at all.Look at the results detailed below.

So there you have it -someone who only got 8.88% of the vote and not elected somehow manages to be appointed as a councillor.

Perhaps someone could enlighten me how this can be democratic .
